Terms and Conditions

 

1. The Virtual Lesson will take place on March 3rd, 2015 and it will last 3 hours (10am-1pm). The participants are asked to be attentive and active on the Virtual Lesson website at that time.

2. Individual pupils as well as youth groups (max. 5 persons) can take part in the lesson. During the event all the participants should have computers with access to the Internet.

3. New tasks to fulfill will be published on the website at the time prearranged in the festival programme.

4. Tasks are developed as forms, which will be sent to the Virtual Lesson Organisers automatically just after filling them in. In each task form it is needed to give your name, surname, email address, name and address of your school.

5. There are 7 tasks to solve, each of them concerning hate speech, discrimination, stereotypes and multiculturalism. First search the answers in your memory, then look for them on the Internet!

6. You have app. 20 minutes for each task.

7. There will be one extra task to solve - creating an graphic, published at the begining of the festival. The teams should create profiles on the suitable websites in order to create graphics, for example: canva.com. 

Jury consisting of "Hate. I Am Against" and "School of Tolerance" project coordinators will award the most original and interesting creations. In addition, we will also award the audience. Graphics will be published on FB and the one that receives the highest number of "likes", will win the extra prize.

8. There will be two awards given for each solved task. The award will go to the participant/group, who/which will be the first one to solve the task correctly. Additionally, among all correct answers for each task there will be one winner/group chosen. The results and the winners will be published on the Virtual Lesson website after the expiry of the time devoted for solutions.

9. All the winners will be provided with small prizes (in case of  teams, the prize will be provided for the whole team).

10. All of the festival participants may receive a certificate confirming taking part in the Virtual Lesson of the project "Hate. I Am Against!"  (teachers should declare a need of these via email beforehand)
